On 21 December 2011, the WIETE received information that its World Transactions on Engineering and Technology Education (WTE&TE) was accepted for inclusion in the Scopus Journal Citation Index, which is an Elsevier product. As is widely known by the international scholarly community, the SciVerse Scopus abstract and citation database is the largest of its kind as it includes over 18,000 titles.

Our flagship publication, the Global Journal of Engineering Education (GJEE) was accepted for inclusion in the Scopus Journal Citation Index in March this year. In addition, both WIETE journals included in the ERA List of Journals have now been migrated to the ERA Journal List Mapped to Scopus.

This represents a further step forward in our endeavour to make the WTE&TE available to a wider global community of engineering and technology educators.
